I totally disagree with the person who submitted this complaint.
I purchased 6 bags of sand for my pool filter, not realizing the sand was not specified for pool use. My pools water started to turn green, the only thing that had changed was the sand. I went back to B & L Pools (35th Ave & Dunlap, in Phx) and talked to the person who originally sold me the sand. Although he did not agree with me, he not only gave me 6 bags of POOL filter sand at no additional charge, but also gave me shock and clairifier too!
In my opinion B & L Pools is the best!

I'm not exactly sure if this is the customer I got involved with a number of years ago, but by the comment I believe it is. The facts are the customer brought a spa pack in. The unit was shot and needed to be replaced. We called and left several messages stating that the unit needed to be replaced. Sometime later, If I remember correctly it was 3 to 4 months, the customer came in demanding their unit back. It had been so long that no one could remember what we did with the pack, but we believe we threw it out. We offered an additional discount on a new unit, that the customer refused. It is generally our policy only to hold items in for repair for over 30 days, will hold them longer if requested to do so. With no communication with the customer, we can not hold or be responsible for items left indefinitely. We at B&L personally strive to offer quality service at fair prices and do so for thousands of customers each year.
