Avistar Parking JFK Airport Valet parking took car, came back from trip and GPS system was stolen by employee. car not damaged. Jamaica New York
I went away for my brothers wedding and my wife and I flew out of JFK airport. When we came back on March 2nd 2008 my GPS system was stolen out of my car. I talked to an employee and he said this was the 14th GPS system stolen from this parking faciltiy. Of course the head of the claims department, Freddy Walz, denied my claim and denied the fact that 13 other GPS systems were stolen. I highly doubt this employee was lying and randomly made this number up in our brief discussion. He even asked another employee who were the individuals assigned to my car.
Right now I am fighting to at least get my parking reimbursed. It is sad but I question the ethics of this parking faciltiy. Not to mention they pulled up a black Denali and asked me if this was my car, when I was waiting for my Nissan Sentre. Maybe if I drove off with the Denali the company would finally get there act togethe
