Avanquest Fix It Utilities / BitDefender Internet
I found this site when looking for "BitDefender". I'd never heard of it until re-booting my PC today. This may be the first start up snce I upgraded Fix-It Utilities a year ago. I bought 5 licences, only managed to use one of them as the registration details given to me by Avanquest were refused by the activation process and a year of messing around with Avanquest's customer help fixed nothing. I'm not renewing my subscrption obviously bespite having used Avanquest Fix it for about 15 years but ... without making this an horrendously boring letter, it just is too much of a mess now and with "BitDefender" now showing its face, Iæll soon see if this is a problem at every boot up. I'll keep an eye out for Avanquest also "mistakenly" renewing my subscription in which case I will find a "no win, no fee" lawyer to bring a case against Avanquest. I can document I sometimes get paid $1,000 an hour for my time. Avanquest must have used about $15,000 worth of my time this year and never delivered what I paid for. I'll keep you all posted but, having read what's on here, added to my own experiences, I wouldn't consider Avanquest as worth dealing with anymore. Something has gone seriously wrong there ... oh ... and even though you have PAID for the software ... you still get Avanquest adverts as pop-ups ... if the big wigs at Avanquest think this is going to win them friends and customers, I reckon the company is doomed.
