 Avanquest has not delivered the software, Partition Commander Backup CD, I ordered October 25, 2009.  I called, 1-408-886-6383, multiple times, written two letters and asked Paypal Conflict Resolution to contact them.  So far I have not received a response from Avanquest.  This is the third product I ordered from Avanquest and the second where I had a problem.  



 Also, I find their telephone service to be lacking.  You receive a "Number out of service" message when their telephones are busy because the telephone system is inadequate.  The support people tell you it will take 15 days to receive a package within California.  When a call is upgraded to Second Level they don't call back. 



 Here is a chronology of my experience with Avanquest:



10/25/02   I ordered a Partition Commander Backup CD on-line.  The order process did not complete, but the order was accepted and paid for.  



10/26/09   It was supposed to have shipped via USPS.



11/04/09   I was told was shipped and should arrive by 11/09.



11/10/09   I could not get through for a couple of hours due to high call volume. 



11/13/09   They confirmed it was shipped, but she would esculate the problem to Second Level and someone would return my call.



11/16/09   No call back?



11/19/09   I wrote Avanquest Global, S.A. with a copy to Avanquest North America and requested their help.



12/04/09   I wrote Avanquest Software in Riverside and requested the software or a refund.  They shipped my System Suite 9 software. 



12/08/09   I contacted PayPal Conflict Resolution and asked for their assistance.



 They sent a message to Avanquest UK about the problem.  So far no response from Avanquest.  



Based on my experience I can see why their support telephone system is overwhelmed.  Although I really need this product,  I suspect I wll need to find an alternative.  Because it is difficult to contact them, they do not deliver and they ignore my requests for help.

I received my refund.

Today I checked my Bank Statement and found Avanquest refunded the full amount of my transaction.  So my dealings with them are finally complete.

The week of December 28th Avanquest finally responded to my emails.  At first they could not find my original order.  But later they told me they shipped the product again.  But when I went to confirm the ship date I found the order had the original October ship date. 

When I queried them about a new ship date I discovered the product, Partition Commander Version 11 Backup CD, is not available in "Book Form" it is only available as a download.  They did offer to send me Version 10, but that does not have the features of Version 11.  So today I requested a refund.
