I first contacted Avanquest about a compatibiilty issue with some software that I had purchased several years ago. Upon receiving word that my product was not compatilble with my new operating system, I was advised to buy another product that would solve the issue at hand.
I purchased the "other" product only to discover that it was the same exact product that I already owned. It just had a different name. But the product was obviously the same.
Upon attempting to get a refund, my request was completely ignored and has yet to be resolved.
Customer service, which is offered only through email for my product, is slow with replies taking up to 1 week. I called once and was advised to call a second number and asked for level 2 support. Upon following the advice, I was chastised twice by the service reps for calling the number which I was advised to call. The supervisor refused to help me because my product wasn't supposed to be supported by phone.
