Auctionroad.com Auction Road ebay ripoff, 9.95 per month charge at 89.50, bad products, bad training, pure crap ripoff business from hell False representation and over Charging Goleta California
Here is what I stated to the company about there products.
They are a rip off.
False representation and over Charging:
In my recorded conversation with Auction Road I was told your company was in good standing with the better business bureau and a member of your local chamber of commerce, of which, neither was true.
I was told I would be charged $9.35 per month, instead, I was charged for an entire year. I was told I would be charged $9.35 per month for the first nine months, getting the last three months for free. I was charged $9.95 per month totaling $89.55.
I also was not told about any requirements to signup for ebay and actually conduct a trade as a requirement to receive my money back or told I would be charged for shipping and handling. Please Remember, I have this recorded.
Plus not only that, but over charges in shipping and handling by 300%. Your 6 page welcome kit should only cost $1.95 at most to ship, and should have taken 7 days to arrive not 18 days, as it was, it was not sent priority mail but regular first class mail. This welcome kit, which is skimpy and poorly compiled could have easily been sent via email, saving me both time, effort having to type the long link names in and more importantly the postage and handling you didnt tell me about!
Defective Training materials:
I found your product (the 6 page welcom kit) (for training in online trading) to be Defective as it points to web pages on your website which are incomplete. As stated earlier, your training could have been easily emailed to me instead of being sent using US mail. It is apparent that your company really more of a sham. This is also on account to your poor ratings by the BBB. A number of the topics in your training were nothing more than blank place holders, including even a main topic section 10 Insider Secrets on Wholesale Goods stating Text goes here.

Poorly priced products:
And the products you offer for drop shipment (for sale on Ebay) far too over priced. I ran analysis using Deepanalysis and Andales research services.
Your products were over priced in every single area.
Enclosed:
The package I receive in the mail.
Proof of registration on E-bay
Proof of a closed ebay auction.
Refund:
I expect my refund to be made on my PayPal Mastercard debit card in no more than 5 business days of receiving this letter. I also have filed a formal complaint with paypal and the BBB, monster.com, dice.com, careerbuilder.com, flipdog.com and hotjobs.com.

But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business?
