I ordered my cable service and it was scheduled to be installed on Friday May 25 01. The AT&T cable man came out and installed it and everything was working fine except for the Audio. There was no sound. So I called on the next Tuesday to schedule someone to come out and fix it. I kept getting busy signals. I tried and tired for the next 4 days. I called morning, afternoon and night and nothing. Finally on that Friday, I got through. Just when I thought a miracle had happened. I began "wading" through the menu to find the correct department. Repairs, Yea!. So I am now on hold to get a representative. I waited, and waited. I keep checking my phone time display to see how long I had been holding. After 20 minutes, I was getting upset. Finally at 34 minutes a rep answered. I was extremely upset at this point. The rep scheduled another appointment with another AT&T rep. He can out that Saturday. Of course, the appointment was between 2 and 4 and he showed up at 1.30. After trying 3 different digital cable boxes on my TV, he indicated that some office knows as "Provisioning" was down and I could not get a signal till Monday. He bypassed my cable box and hooked up some type of cable. Unfortunately, I could only get 4 channels.

The really bad part was that I had to call AT&T again and try to get through. At this point, I am convinced that it is easier to get through at a radio station.

I called and called and called. Again, I was the lucky winner 4 days later and was able to get to the menu. Again, the hold time was completely unacceptable. Every time I called I mentioned to the rep that it has taken me days to get through and at a minimum of 30 minutes to get a rep.

And antoher appointment. This time, it was during the week and again I had to take off work to meet my AT&T rep during that wonderful 4 hour window that they gave me. The next miracle happened. He fixed my cable. Thank god, because I never want to have to call AT&T Broadband Cable again. AT&T is aware that they need more help in their phone center. With all the money that a company like that has it is beyond me why they have a 30 minute wait to get service. In addition, the funniest thing is: I called their sales department and someone answered immediately.
