Atlantic Moving Service Florida LLC Easy Move Transportation Holding goods hostage-Increase in money demand Hallandale Florida
My move was local, under 10 miles 2 bedroom apartment. Quoted 950.00 for 1 truck 3 men appox 7.0 hours. This quote was the same more or less that the other 3 quotes I received. They loaded the truck and were on the way to our home and they called me and said it would be $4800.00 in cash or certified check.
They added all these line items on the BOL Long carry 400.00, extra labor 1035.00 packaging 316.00 1175 for packaging???? my stuff was in storage!!! 300.00 for mirror cartons, 272. tape????
We called the police but they said it was a civil matter. They threatened us to sign and pay or they would leave. $5100.00 for a local move wow this is such a rip off. We are traumatized by this and are fearful of these people. After we paid them they loaded all our stuff in the garage not in the home and left without giving us any receipts or BOL. I wish someone could help us get our money back from these people
