This week I received an email from an individual claiming to be a from an Employment agency saying they have a job in my field and in my geographic region. the individual included a link to the web site with a domain that match the email address. I did a little quick research and it looked like a scam. Then I did a lot of research and found 11 near identical web domains (list below) where everything was identical but the agency name and the HR director. All the other executive names are the same.
I did additional search using https://whois.icann.org and found that nearly all the domains are being hosted by DreamHost.com.
Using the agency names and the phone number the email provided I was able to use google search and find that many others have also received similar emails along with email conversations that led up to a request for Personal Identifying Information (date-of-births and social security numbers).
In my research I see that individuals have reported that the scam starts with receiving an email from the HR director and those names are different depending on the agency name being used. I think the scammer is using the different names to help keep track of his correspondence.
There is no legal reason for these ten uniquely named agencies and domains with everything else being identical. There is no legal reason to ask for DOB and SSN in a job application process the way this individual is proceeding.
I have read that DreamHost.com has a Terms of Use and this scam is a violation. I have also read on DreamHost.com abuse listing that this is a known scam.

Add www.itmcsg.com to the list. I received emails from a fake director named Kevin Spear constantly asking me to update my profile but the link led to nowhere. I found this to be a scam because I googled the supposed Illinois address they have listed and it came out to be an address they used on one of the links that you have listed. This is the second employment scam I've come across while job hunting and it's frustrating. Thank you for your report.
