Asset Acceptance Zombie Debt Warren Michigan
I had a debt that was first reported in 2005, I waited until the statute of limitations expired due to inability to pay off the debt. Well the debt expired in 2012 and I had the negative mark removed from all 3 credit reports. Now here it is 2 years after this debt is no longer collectable and this debt collector, Asset Acceptance sends me a letter trying to collect on this debt again.
Don't trust this collector, check everything. They like to try and collect beyond the statute of limitations.
