Ashworth College I contacted Ashworth without my official transcripts for them to perform a college eval and they would not do eval unless I gave them automatic payment I contacted Ashworth on 8/29/14 for an evaluation and I did not have my official transcripts due to my former school closing. Ashworth did not advise me on the enrollment process that I have 5 days to cancel. Norcross New Jersey
I contacted Ashworth without my official transcripts for them to perform a college eval and they would not do eval unless I gave them automatic payment I contacted Ashworth on 8/29/14 for an evaluation and I did not have my official transcripts due to my former school closing. Ashworth did not advise me on the enrollment process that I have 5 days to cancel. Ashworth knew that I did not know how long it would take to obtain my official transcripts so they enrolled me and took my bank card number and charged my account up to $318. However, I spoke to rep. with Ashworth on 9/15/14 and they said you only 5 days to cancel and then I explained the situation again about not receiving my officially transcripts. The rep said its ok she will note the account and I specifically asked her if I will be penalized and she said no. I called a few times after advising them that I did not recd. my official transcripts and they never said anything to me again, thinking that I am ok. I called today to cancel because I still did not recd. my official transcripts and they said I cannot get a refund. I did not sign anything acknowledging this as well. Ashworth considers the phone call to be contractual binding because they issued me a student ID and sent me an email to log into my account which I have not done to this day. This is fraud and is a scam.
