Ordered a $220 monitor online which arrived quite badly scratched and failed after less than 12 hours. It was the last unit and no other product is available to replace it. Refund was accepted, but Ascendtech still wants me to pay for the return shipment of their 20lbs defective merchandise. When I started to disagree, I was told that it was in accordance with their return policy, that they were not a member of the BBB, and that it was [sic] "vindictive and childish" of me to even consider filing complaints and bad reviews.

Best of the best, they consider a favor to not charge me for a 20% restocking fee in addition to the shipping. Does that mean they re-stock broken equipment? They can obviously ship the same unit back since they do not care about the consequences and do not have the ethics to take responsibility for their mistakes.

I wish I had researched this company before giving them my credit card number. Stay away!
