Apx Alarm Security Solutions Ripoff in CANADA, Internet
Got a Free system installed, now that i've lost my job after 15 yrs I cant afford payments.
My credit card is maxed out so cc company isn't allowing any more payments to be put against it.
Contacted company regarrding del. account and they assured me they would work with me, their idea of working with me is they have now sent my account to a collection agency.
This I found out when I called them today to let them know when I expect to be able to bring account up to date, at this point I am in arrears for the amount of $180.00, they are now telling me to bring my account up to date I must pay them $400.00,so much for understanding and working with YOU.
Had the company done a credit check they would have found out I was unemployed and deeply in debt, goes to show that the companys over zealous employee was only concerned about selling the service and not concerned abount professional business practices.

Rumor has it that some people like to use big words to inflate minor clerical errors into public dangers. Typically licenses from many cities merely mean that the company in question simply stopped by and said hello to the government office in the area (for your information). APX is a very efficient company that takes care of licensing every where it does business. Usually the only problem is government workers who cannot get their licenses in order in a timely manner. Then some one with a question about the company's validity calls in and talks with the guy in the office that doesn't know what he is doing and says that they don't have a license. Isn't it ironic that there are few companies out there that don't have a rip off report and many of those are responsible for the rip offs that actually hurt people not just cost them a few minutes on the phone.

Rumor has it that Apex is and/or has been under police investigation in Canada for lack of business licenses, illegal sales practices, "hard sell' un lawful practices, fraudulently billing for monitoring not provided all in several jurisdictions.

I find it sad when individuals sign up for things they cannot afford and blame the company for signing them up for them. Credit scores are not a means for a company to decide on whether a customer should by something or not. Their purpose is to allow the company to calculate risk. If a consumer decides to make a purchase he cannot afford it is ethically referred to as STEALING. because the company providing the good or service has to pay costs associated with that good or service provided. Please do not post a company on RIP OFF reports when you were the one ripping them off.
