Appliance repairman formaly Appliance repair guys Appliance repair guys charged $361.60 & washing machine not fixed Concord Ontario
I called because my washing machine was not working and they advised me that they wills end a technician to my house and the fee is $80+tax to diagnose the problem and if I decide to take the services they would not charge me. Well the service repair man came to my house unassembled my machine charged me $361.60 and not the $80=Tax because he had to do extra work according to him. He said that my machine is fixed and not to turn it on for 24 hours as he glued the part and I shouldn't have any issues.
I was confused as to why he would glue the part and not fix the problem entirely as this would only be a temporary fix because he said that I may need a new inner tug w/ holder BUT NOT REALLY AND I SHOULDN’T WORRY ABOUT IT. He left my house, I waited 24 hours as I trusted what he said as this his field of work and to my surprise my machine still didn't work. I called costumer service the same day and they would put me on hold for 10-15 min and the call would disconnect. Finally after the 6th time I finally got through to someone and the representative Cynthia refused to acknowledge the issue that I was having and put blame on me, lost my money and they refuse to refund my money as the machine still doesn't work and when I spoke to the rep Cynthia AGAIN I asked if its a normal procedure to use glue to fix appliances and she said no.
They scammed me of money and not provide the service as they said they would. this company is a scam and they should be investigated for false services they provide as the person that came to my house was not educated in this field. I would like a full refund of $361.60 and for this company (Appliance Repairman ) 89 Connie Cres, Concord, Ontario to be under investigation as they are scamming citizens out of money with a false promise of the appliance bring fixed.
