BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY HORSES FROM THIS FARM OR THESE PEOPLE. If i could rate this farm a zero i would. These people are liars and falsely advertise horses. They specifically market horses for junior riders and then sell dangerous horses to unsuspecting buyers. Because they are this lovely mother and daughter team they immediately gain your trust because what mother would sell a dangerous horse for a child. They will. Once you come to realize the horse is not appropriate for your child they say they will take it back and give you 50% credit towards another one of their horses which convienently there is nothing in that price range forcing you to spend more money or go down a different path. They have resorted to selling horses under the daughters name Taylor Wyman because the mother Becky Peckham also known as Becky Shapiro also known as Becky Accord is known in the horse world as a complete scam artist who learned all the tricks of the trade from Strain Farms. They have also Changed the name of the farm several times. Please do your research as we did not. You will find countless reports of people being ripped off and scammed. DO NOT BUY HORSES FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

To clarify Strain Farm had nothing to do with our interaction with Apple Creek Farm. The statement i made in regards to Strain is innaccurate as we had no dealings with them whatsoever. They were not involved with our business dealings with Apple Creek.

So these nice people came to our farm to buy a horse for their 12ish y.o. daughter. The mom was a mom and the aunt claimed to be a horse professional. They came with a tight budget and we showed them a couple horses that fell within the budget. One horse in particular stood out to us all. His training under saddle was wonderful. He just lacked trust and personality on the ground. Not unsafe, just lacking trust. They were made very well aware of this. If the kids wanted to run up and hug this horse he would be scared.
If they walked up, patted him and talked to him, then hugged him, that would work. Again, they had super tight budget so perfection was not a option. They agreed that this horse would work well. The had him home for several minths before contacting me. They did not think he would work. They wanted to sell him or trade him. Easy! I advertise all my o=horses online where everyone can see them AND i include the prices with them. What they were asking was completely unreasonable.
They wanted to trade the horse they paid $5000 for for a branded warmblood horse advertised for $15,000. Who could do that?? Who would ask to do that?? I offered them to trade theirs toward another, I offered to take theirs on consignment and sell for them, I offered to purchase theirs back. Not for half the price as they are claiming. I also did not offer full price. If they did want to sell him back they would have to realize I then would have to re advertise which cost, feed him, shoe him, pay all his expenses.
They did sign a bill of sale at purchase stating his price and what he is. They saw the simple and standard sales guidlines that they signed. For them to be bashing our farm everywhere is wrong. Oh yea, the horse has recently been advertised for sale. Exactly the way he was advertised here. Not dangerous, just needs a friend.
