When APEX alarm came to our house to sell us service, They explained that there was a two year committment unless we transferred service or it was taken over by a new tenant. I explained that I was on a liver transplant list and would need to move at some point, possibly sooner than two years. The installer said that wouldn't be a problem because if it related to serious medical reasons there wouldn't be a penalty and I would be let out of the contract. When I did move to Denver for the transplant they did not honor the verbal agreement. After we completed the two years, we requested termination of the contract, but they did not terminate and they keep billing my visa card. I would like immediate termination of the service and a refund for all billings gererated past the two years. this is a very disreputable company that will say anything to install an alarm.
