Complaint Review: A&P Intertrust Corporation - Richmond Hill Ontario

I paid A&P Intertrust $2,500 to create a business I cannot use. Part of the package I bought from them was setting up the bank account for me as well. Once the business was setup they said it would be 2-3 weeks to setup the bank account. I waited 6 months, yes 6 MONTHS and I still didn't have a bank account. They kept asking the same questions over and over and I kept answering the same questions. After a few months of this I'm finally realizing that this is a SCAM. What they do is get you to pay them up front to create a business and bank account but the bank account never gets opened so you can't use the business. They keep answering your emails for weeks and months "almost done, should be done by the end of the week". But this never happens.

You say "you said that last week, and the week before etc." but they keep answering the same thing. They have endless reasons why it's being held up, irrelevant reasons they invent. One of the problems with mine was they wanted my engineering certificate but I'm not an engineer. I have an engineering background, yes but not a professional engineer. They kept asking for this and I kept saying I don't have that and then they realized that is a good reason to delay this process 6 months and steal my money. This game would have went on forever if I didn't start to demand a refund but when I did, that's when they refused my bank account for no apparent reason so now I am stuck with a business that I cannot use.

$2,500 totally in the garbage. I was more than fair and kept it polite for 6 months giving them the benefit of the doubt but clearly they are a SCAM company. A true honest business would provide a refund to a customer after telling their client the bank account will take 2-3 weeks to open but making them wait 6 months and playing all kinds of games during this time. Igor, the company owner was copied to every single email but he never answered a single one until the end when I started to demand a refund because this is taking way too long and started to smell like a SCAM. He simply said "too bad - no refund". In the beginning they are very vocal about "not being in control of the bank's decision to open your bank account" and they use this as an excuse later to keep your money later because the bank will NEVER open your bank account. They found so many reasons to delay the process.

Honestly, 6 months it took and they still didn't open it. Started in Dec 2017 and now it's May 2018. The bank is called Heritage Bank which is also a SCAM. Just look at the website. It hasn't been updated since 2013!! Stay away people, this is a massive SCAM! I hope I just saved a lot of other people $2,500. Further, Igor is a very smooth talker and has an answer to anything. I'm sure he will reply to this to make it look like I am the one who is scamming but ANYTHING he says is a LIE! Do not believe a word! It is all a lie. Everything he replies to this is a lie. Anything he says I said or did or didn't do is a lie. What I've stated above is the truth and I just wanted a company and bank account but they are not in the business of doing this. They are in the business of ripping people off and screwing them around for as long as it takes for that person to give up.
