I have tried to cancel AOL service many times, by telephone on four different occassions, by email on two occasions and by fax per aol's request on one occasion. I even changed my payment to a credit card to a credit card that was maxed out, so that payment could not be gotten - just so it could be cancelled.

Beginning in Feb. 2002 I called to cancel my service. I was told that I would not be charged and that they wanted me to try it for the next 30 days free and just see some new things that were happening on Aol. I insisted that I did want to quit the service, but the young man was insistant that he was leaving the service on FREE, so I could look at all the new stuff that was going on, it was then, I changed the credit card, to the maxed out card, so they could no longer get any money from me.

But to my avail, on March 8th, they managed to get 23.90 and I was also charged 29.00 over the limit fee from my credit card company, this credit card company has never let anyone get over the limin, why they started now, I don't know. So I called Aol again and told them I wanted to cancel again, no problem, they will credit my account, they don't know what happened, they will get it straight (no credit has ever happened). I also followed up with an email and a fax to the number that aol gave me to use, which by the way doesn't work. MYe C, gave me the number and it didn't work anyway I called again no they will not charge me and they will cancel.

Guess what, they charged me again, and yes another over the limit fee of 29.00 more dollars on top of the 23.90. Did I call them again of course, no we didn't charge you, please stay with us, let me show you how to make money by staying here. No please cancel you cost me too much money to stay, I will fix it for you, I will get your money back and find out the problem. The guy won't give me his personal name and information, but goes on to tell me he can guarantee me he will fix it and gives me his personal email address of [email protected], well he never emailed me and never responded to my email and I have not ever been on aol, because all this time I have had another internet carrier and have been using that one.

I want my money back and they can pay my over the limit fees back also, Oh yeah you have alot of nerve sending me a bill of 23.90 for June, I had to quit paying my credit card, so the company would quit paying aol. That's a hell of a note.

AOL you suck and you know it, Give me what is mine, give me my money back, you know you owe it to me. You keep very good records there and you know that money is mine. Just give it back now.
