I drove into their parking facility. After driving through there was no parking. The car ahead of me approached the exit bar and pushed the intercom button and I heard her say there was no parking. She had to repeat herself several times and finally after a few minutes the bar was raised.

When I approached the gate I pressed the intercom button and the man asked me what my problem was. I said "there is no parking I need the bar lifted". He was mumbling or had such broken English that I couldn't understand him. I told him I had already put the ticket in and it went into the machine. He repeated several times to insert my ticket which I had already done. I said I couldn't understand him because he sounded like he was upset with me and was mumbling. He kept telling me to put my ticket in the machine and was upset because I told him "I can't understand what you're saying."

I spoke as loud as I could and said I was late for an appointment please open the bar. He became silent and never opened the bar. I waited, and I waited and I pushed the intercom button repeatedly and he never responded again. I began to honk my horn hoping the policeman one floor above would come down because I didn't know what else to do.

I continued until an employee finally came walking down to me. He asked me what my problem was. I said I simply wanted out of the garage as there was no parking. Mind you I had been trying to leave for 10 minutes by this point. He said "calm down lady, where's your ticket." I said in the machine. Before unlocking the machine he told me it was not in there. I said, "I put it in like I was asked." He laughed at me and said "your crazy". Then he unlocked the machine and said there's no ticket in their lady. So he called me a lier and basically held me hostage as I was unable to leave the garage and was being verbally badgered by some garage attendant.

I said "do I have to call the police to get out of here?" He answered "there's police upstairs do you want me to get them" I said, "I'll call them myself" I called the police and explained the situation. He asked to talk to the attendant. The attendant told the police "she's a crazy lady." I think because I made the sign of the cross as I was losing my patience he had a problem with that. I asked him if he was doing this to me because I was a Christian or what?" He asked, "what's that got to do with anything I'm a Christian too." Well, he decided for whatever reason to unlock the bar, raise it and finally allow me to leave.
