Ameriquest Mortgage Higher interest rate than promised. ripoff abused & mistreated ripoff business from hell Everett Washington
When we originally were called to re-fi our home my 1st concerns were that the taxes and insurance were to be inclueded in the payment and we were promised that there were no problems. All sounded good so we started the process. Kevin came to our home and started all the loan papers for us. After all the apprasial and paper work was done Kevin brought everything out for us to sign. Kevin even wrote down on the paper work how much our payments would be with everything included. He had us initial both spots on the form to accept and decline the payment amount.
We both thought it was strange but did it because he said that he needed it done that way so that we could get everything closed on time. Everything seemed fine and we began making payments..after a few months i recieved our staments and notice that the taxes and insurance were NOT included in our payments! I contacted Ameriquest and was told that I needed to pay them $ 1000 to start an escrow acct and then they would pay the taxes and insurance. Now we are trying to catch up paying our taxes and have to make a house payment, insurance payment and taxes. Not to mention we are not able to re-fi our home for 3 years without paying almost $9000 for a prepayment penalty!!! This is the worst company we have ever delt with in our lives and I tell everyone that ever mentions their name!!!
