I am writing to you about Ameriquest Mortgage Corporation. In November of 2001 I refinanced my mortgage with Ameriquest Mortgage Corporation. I was promised by my loan office Jeff in the California internet branch all of these wonderful things like them paying off my lien and my credit card debts and removing 2cosigners off of my title.

To date 1/14/03 the Lien company name stills appears on my title and so do the cosigners even though they never signed any loan documents from Ameriquest. The only thing that was signed by the co-owners were a quick claim deed which was supposed to give me full ownership of the property. The quick claim deed of course mysteriously disappeared. The title company Bridgespan that was paid approximately $4,000 to record my title never filed my paperwork.

I have been calling the Ameriquest Internet for the last past 6 months asking for my loan officer Jeff, the underwriter Sasha and the branch manager Michael Johnson. Of course none of these people are ever available. I followed up with a call to the corporate office and spoke with someone by the name of Holly Green who referred me to the Michael Johnson's manager Michael Spivey.

At the suggestion of Holly Green I left Mr. Spivey a voicemail regarding my dilema and also wrote Holly Green a letter to explain what I needed in detail and forwared a copy to Mr. Spivey and also faxed him a copy. I then followed up with a phone call and spoke directly with Mr. Spivey and told him what I needed and informed him that I was faxing over a copy of the letter, that was a week ago. I still have not heard from anyone at Ameriquest. I called the corporate office again today at (877)965-9678 and the greeting that you receive states this number is to Olympus Mortgage.

When the receptionist picked up the line I asked her if this was Ameriquest and she responded yes. I guess the cowards at Ameriquest can not own up to the heartache that they are causing hard working consumers so they instead run and change their name because of bad publicity.

Holly Greene, Operations Manager, is a good contact at the Ameriquest 'Retail' Division Corporate Office. In my past experience, Mike Spivey is very hard to get ahold of. You might try Wendell Raphael, he is the Operations Managers' boss. OR try Mike Spivey's boss Mary Jo Shelton, she is located in Minnesota. She is in charge of ALL the branch, area and regional managers and answers to Kirk Langs. The owner of the company is Roland Arnall (who just purchased a 30 million + acreage with 3 homes (2 torn down, one of which was the pink palace) in Holmby Hills around September of last year. Very profitable business. I hope this information is of some help to you. There is a very long history of accounting problems and perhaps the title companies also. Ask any appraiser, some are past-due tens of thousands of dollars.
