Ameridebt Charged for "Non-Profit" Service Germantown Maryland
I was a client of Ameridebt from March of 2000 until April of 2002. I had upwards of $7,000 of debt. I never had any problems with the creditors that they paid on my behalf, but they claimed to be a non-profit debt settlement firm.
I paid them $40 a month in return for their services. I understand a class action suit was settled against them a couple of years ago, but I am yet to see any money from it.
Would whoever reads this report please post any information below about the suit.

shows the receiver as Rob Evans & Associates (robevans.com) Amount fined is $35 million with 30% of that going to IRS. Then refunds to consumers. Supposed to be based on what you paid, but as in all class action lawsuits don't expect all that you paid back.
