AMERICAS SERVICE STATION Unethical and Deceptive Business Practices Dacula, Georgia
I recently purchased two services from the Hamilton Mill, Dacula station in Georgia on the strength of offers of $25 off from their Computer Diagnostic evaluation advertised on their web site, and $25 off purchases over $100. After the services were performed I tendered the coupon for the Computer Diagnostic work, to my surprise it was not accepted. Then I tendered the $25 off $100 coupon and that was not accepted also. That dishonest and crooked practice needs to be brought to the attention of the BBB and the public. On the strength of the offers that were made to me before the services were rendered I was grossly overcharged and want my money back as a matter of principle. In addition they tried to sell me additional work as a result of the computer diagnostic and I declined. They kept my car for over 3 hours and my car conincidentally started leaking fluids the evening after I picked it up. The owner and company are unethical as a whole and they are incented based on the maximum revenue they can extract from the customer versus just doing what is asked. If you don't do what they say, then they will damage your car very discretely.
