American Freight - American Freight Of Ohio Will not refund on bad goods ripoff Columbus Ohio
Picked up a sofa and loveseat only to get it home and finde out after unpacking the sofa that it had ink and other stains all over it. Took it back and exchanged it.
Got the second one home and sat in it the next morning after the fabric treatment dried to finde that the support in the arm was broken.
I called again and was told all sales are final. The manager said it was posted all over the store. At this time all I wanted is my money back so I could go to a different store but was still told exchange only all sales are final. No mention was made by the salesperson, on the web site or in their adds.
When I took it back again the only place it said "all sales are final" was on a standard sheet of paper that was on the wall with 15 or more other papers and on the receipt I got after I paid for the product. The paper it was next to said "all refunds will be made by corporate check". They refunded my money on the back order tables and the sign said they make refunds by check but they wouldn't refund $860 after I had gotten 2 bad sofa's.
They must be proud of their company since their real name is American Freight of Ohio.
