AMERICAN CREDIT EDUCATORS - ACE ripoff Denver Colorado
In 1999 via a phone conversation with ACE, I agreed to paying $289.00 plus 11.95 shipping charges for 5 books, 5 tapes, and an organizer to help me understand how to rebuild my credit. Unless I was rendered temperarily insane at that moment, there is no way I would have agreed to such an outlandish scheme to throw away my money. I never received these "valuables" in the mail.
Furthermore, I was told I received a credit card as well. I never received that either. And there is no record on my credit file showing that a credit card was issued. The only information ACE had for this "allegedly issued" credit card was their name - United Credit Natl Bank and their homestate - South Dakota.
For a company just this information on a company they "supposedly" paired up with the rebuild my credit sends redflags to me that I have been swindled and strong arm by the abusive power that a company has over a person trying to control their credit and FICO scores. ACE offered me a resolution to the situation via a settlement. Once again this shows how a company can prey on a person's invaluable need for good credit because they have the power to destroy it if you dont succomb to the strongarming of paying their outlandish charges for things you never agreed upon in the first place!!!
