They cancelled my honeymoon flight 3 days before it was scheduled to occur. It completely screwed up our plans. They only gave us two horrible alternative options. We ended up having to get a room near the airport (1.5 hrs away) in order to make the 7am flight (instead of the ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED 1pm flight) and cancel our plans to stay at a nice bed and breakfast in our hometown and drive ourselves to the airport in the morning. Additionally, we had to pay for a ride to the airport after our wedding reception AND we had to rent a car to get home from the airport when we got back from the honeymoon. We incurred nearly $200 in costs (not to mention the major inconvenience) due to their last-minute cancellation. Please join me in making American Airlines your LAST CHOICE airline.
