It is now February 2002. Since April 2001 I have been trying to get AOL to stop billing me and return me the money it billed me. I supposedly got a year of free AOL with my new Gateway laptop but it has been the biggest mistake I ever made. I won't go into detail. I've alreaedy spent days making phone calls, e-mailing, copying, faxing, writing letters... and I won't spend any more time or money. Suffice it to say AOL is crooked - they take money they're not supposed to take and they won't give it back. Their customer service is nonexistent. God, I hate AOL. I tell everyone I know to stay as far away from it as they can.
