america on line billing dept AOL Over Billing ripoff
During the first week of January 2002 inquired about a cheaper
plan with AOL since we already had a local ISP. was informed
they had a cheaper plan and was placed on it, but was not
informedthat it was pay by the hour plan and was placed on AOL
as the ISP.
the hourly planplus AOL's charges are astronomical there was nothing cheaper about the plan.. for the month it was $686.38 ..they admitted over the phone that the person did not kno the plan wasn't unlimited like i always had..so for everyone i say check your bill everyday..otherwise it could happen to you I am 75 yrs. old and never had to write anything like this before ..thank you for listening .
