VICTIMS FIGHTING BACK!

I was interviewed last Friday afternoon by my local TV station concerning Alyon Technologies' PROVEN CRIMINAL SCAM. They even got shots of Rip-Off Reports from my computer. I'd say overall the segment went well, except for the local university expert they interviewed regarding Internet downloads. He didn't give me ANY SUPPORT-but instead, actually made my story look bad.

He said, "Anything you download, you usually look at a license agreement. And it will say, 'do you accept the license agreement? Yes or No?' Most people click 'yes' not even thinking twice about it." Sorry to tell you Mr. Stutes, but THERE WERE NO LICENSE AGREEMENTS TO "ACCEPT" WITH THESE TROJAN DOWNLOADS.

All in all, I think KPLC TV 7 did a good story on Alyon Technologies. They gathered ALOT of information in a few short minutes, went back to the station and put together a story in a very short time frame. There were some things they forgot to mention, but I guess that's to be expected. You can read the story at the following site:

(So much for concealing my name.)

I've also been sending "CONSUMER ALERT" emails to some of the Super Stations and National Networks. I'M ASKING ALL OF YOU TO PLEASE, HELP ME. If several of you will do this, maybe one of these stations will investigate, or do a segment on this PROVEN CRIMINAL SCAM. I filled out an online email THIS MORNING with WPIX in New York, and received a reply this afternoon stating they had checked out my story, and wanted to know how to reach me by phone. PLEASE GO TO THEIR SITE AND FILL OUT THE ONLINE EMAIL IN THE "HELP ME HOWARD" SECTION:

Alyon Technologies, Inc. is located in Secaucus, New Jersey, with billing offices in Norcross, Georgia. Electronic Group, or eGroup, located in Lyon, France, is the manufacturer/provider of Alyon's software. These companies have connections in the Netherlands, Spain, and Africa. Some fear that Alyon and eGroup may be using money collected through vile criminal tactics for other criminal means, perhaps even (censored) activities.

The FBI, FTC, and the Attorney General's Offices of several states are currently investigating Alyon Technologies.

Innocent American families are being victimized and terrorized in their own homes by this group of organized (censored). Alyon Technologies is sending (censored)bills to innocent people all across this country for allegedly viewing "adult content" on the Internet, and DEMANDING prompt payment. If you do not pay these outrageous bills, you are sent harassing and threatening letters.

Mr. Stephane Toubal is the CEO of Alyon Technologies, Inc. After receiving hundreds of complaints about Alyon Technologies, WWOR TV in New Jersey decided to investigate. When asked by the reporter about the many claims of Alyon's items literally "hi-jacking" HUNDREDS of computers, Mr. Toubal replied, "They are ALL (censored). Mr. Toubal was referring to a City Hall in Oklahoma, a Church in South Carolina, and the hundreds of innocent victims of his criminal scam. http://www.upn9.tv/

Story aired 2/26/03

Detective David Cheek, Gwinnett County Police Department, was assigned to investigate the hundreds of complaints filed against Alyon Technologies. After completing his investigation in January 2003, he deemed the numerous cases 'unfounded'. HOWEVER, on February 26, 2003, WSBTV 2 in Atlanta launched an investigation on Alyon Technologies and Detective Cheek. The detective stated, "I have not been able to recreate ANY of the claims made by these people." As the cameras were rolling, Alyon's items automatically, self-downloaded and installed to Detective Cheek's computer-without his knowledge or consent. Detective Cheek was forced to admit the truth.

IEAccess and StripPlayer - software provided to Alyon Technologies by Electronic Group - ruled "TROJAN DIALERS"

http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/db/s/stripplayer.asp

http://www.pestpatrol.com/PestInfo/db/i/ieaccess.asp

Norton Works classifies Alyon/eGroup's products as "Nuissanceware and Dialerware that takes advantage of flaws in the computer web browser.

This was a very cleverly planned and executed criminal scam: To plant deceptive, self-downloading/installing 'pop-up' ads all over the Internet OR send self-downloading/installing 'pop-up' spam emails, ILLEGALLY download and install FIREWALL KILLERS, SPYWARE, and TROJAN DIALERS, and then send (censored)bills to owners of the telephone lines.

The numerous "safeguards" that Detective David Cheek claimed WERE "in place to prevent unintentional access to the material provided by Alyon and eGroup" never appeared on HUNDREDS of computer screens. There was NEVER an option to "AGREE" or "DISAGREE" to ANYTHING. Alyon's items ILLEGALLY, SELF-DOWNLOADED and INSTALLED to our computers without our knowledge or consent.

Jan Charter of the Federal Trade Commission stated, "It really amounts to theft. It's someone who didn't ask for this - you're getting charged for something you didn't buy." We are being outrageously charged for something we DID NOT ask for, consent to, or even have knowledge.

Many innocent GRANDPARENTS who do not even own a computer OR have Internet access are being sent these (censored)bills. There are also many DECEASED people allegedly visiting this 'adult' web site. A City Hall in Oklahoma was recently billed in excess of $300.00 for viewing 'adult content' on the

Internet. A Church in South Carolina was billed for viewing an 'adult' movie at 1:30 in the morning. A retired PASTOR was also recently billed for viewing "adult web content".

The OUTRAGE of this SCAM is the fact that these (censored) are intentionally planting deceptive 'pop-up' ads on children/teen sites such as: www.playhousedisney.com and www.kaaza.com. Why would they target children/teen sites with these ads? Norton Works, doxdesk.com, pestpatrol.com and spywareguide.com answered this question. If a child or teen merely enters a site where these companies advertise, Alyon/eGroup's items will automatically self-download and install to their computers.

Who exactly IS Alyon Technologies/eGroup? Why is there no valid contact names, addresses, or telephone numbers? Why won't they sign a name to a certified letter receipt or their emails? Why do they conduct all business affairs through mail or email ONLY? Why is there no REAL Customer Service Support to contact by phone? Why did they hide their faces when WWOR TV CAUGHT THEM BY SURPRISE? Why did Mr. Toubal DEMAND that the video camera be turned OFF before agreeing to give a SHORT explanation of their billing practices?

Is Alyon/eGroup part of a (censored) GROUP? Is there possibly a (censored) connection? Is the money they are collecting through vile CRIMINAL TACTICS being used for other criminal means, perhaps (censored)ACTIVITIES? Where EXACTLY is the overseas money being funneled to-TERRORISM?

Terror is defined as "such fear as agitates body and mind; dread; alarm; cause of fear."

Alyon Technologies is committing acts of 'CYBER-TERRORISM' against HUNDREDS of innocent American families, just when our Government is fighting the "War On Terror".

This criminal company is guilty of Violating COPA Law, Internet Fraud, Identity Theft, and Computer Hacking.

In President Bush's speech in regarding online safety, he stated, "Anyone who targets a child for harm will be a primary target for law enforcement."

Alyon Technologies is primarily targeting children and teen sites with their deceptive, self-downloading/installing 'pop-up' pornography ads. They should be a primary target for law enforcement and punished to the full extent of the law.

If authorities do not take immediate action, many more INNOCENT AMERICAN FAMILIES will fall prey to this criminal scam.

PLEASE WARN CONSUMERS OF THIS PROVEN CRIMINAL SCAM!

"Consumer Alert" To Dateline Must Be Condensed:

Mon, March 24, 2003

I sent the above "CONSUMER ALERT" to '[email protected]' and it was immediately returned to my inbox by the System Administrator stating, "The content length of the message is too long for the recipient to take delivery."

So, I condensed my "Consumer Alert" and sent it to: [email protected] I received an automated reply that it was received.

Just letting you know if you're emailing Dateline - you'll have to send a shorter version of your story. You can still cover the basics of this PROVEN CRIMINAL SCAM. (Be sure to include the WSBTV 2 story!)

Thank you, Ed Magedson-founder of Rip-Off Report-for having this site. We would be LOST without it.

If WWOR TV (Super Station) and several smaller/local TV stations have aired segments on Alyon Technologies, then some of the larger networks may at least be willing to investigate.

Great work. Sure the good professor lives in an academic ivory tower, believes the average
person just can not be right in this situation.

WKRC, a Cincinnatti TV station should be added to your terrific summation of this case. Howard Ain, their consumer reporter did two stories on Alyon in February, the second after I showed him the RipOff reports' over 600 complaints
on this issue.

I have contacted the New Jersey BBB twice with . no response which annoys me greatly. I have also contacted the Attorney Generals of Georgia and Maryland, my State. I have been in touch with the FTC and tonight will write the Internet (censored)division of the FBI.
