Insurance allstate insisted we do repairs to our property or they would cancel our insurance, $1500 later they cancelled us.
The westside allstate office is run by a moron, she keeps her files and notes in a pile on a desk she can never find anything, unfortunately for the people who are insured by her.
I received a letter from allstate stating i needed to repair my garage, i called them they informed me it needed a new roof by the first or they would not renew my policy, i said fine, i had a new roof put on and i went and dropped off my receipts as proof i was told they would be by, the first came and went i got a call from my mortgage company they informed me i was in default of my loan for having no insurance, i called my agent she informed me she had cancelled my policy 6 days prior and had informed my mortgage holder but was unable to get ahold of me.
evidently this idiot couldn't find my policy (of 3 years) in that pile of crap in her office, so she didn't have my address.
so i am left with repair bills that were unneeded, and i was without insurance, i thought they could not cancel your policy if your paid up, and uninformed.
plus i got to deal with about 10 unfriendly call from my mortgage holder, and i was left scrambling for insurance.

Hey Okie, so much of what you said just doesn't make sense. First of all, your agent doesn't phone your mortgage company to inform them that the h*o policy has lapsed. That just does not happen. I'm sure there is way more to this little 'story' of yours. Secondly, you say the agent could not find your policy because her desk was a mess, therefore resulting in her inability to find your contact information. THAT lead to the lapse??? Are you kidding me??? Your info. is kept on a computer. Have you heard of one of those??? Allstate uses different systems to store your info., ALSTAR and IMPACT. Everything is kept. There's so much more wrong with what you said but I don't have the time. I used to have an Allstate office and I dealt with idiots like yourself. People love to blame insurance companies whenever possible. I guess it helps their pathetic little brains feel better. In closing, you're an idiot Okie Christine and a LIAR!!! That agent should sue you for defamation of character.
