All Approved Autoworks Refused to return $200 deposit on non-existing car Lake Worth Florida
On 10/20/14 I went to the shop to look at an advertised 1987 corvette for $3550.When I got there, I coud see the body needed work & the salesman,Michael A. Lahusky, said he couldn't start the car because the key was locked inside so come back next day.Told me it was such a great deal I should put a deposit on it because it would go fast. I put down $200 cash & came back the next day.
He couldn't get the car to start, kept stalling out. When it started he went back into his office. The car was advertised in Palm Beach Post as ,cold A/C,V-8 alloy,new tires, runs great! That was why I put down the deposit.The dashboard did not work at all. You could not see your speed, fuel tank level,etc.The A/C didn't work. The windows could not open and the headlight would not open as well. It stalled 3x before I pulled away from the curb. It stalled while I was driving it.
When I got back(after driving for only 1 block),I told him that nothing in the car worked. And that nothing in the advertisement was correct. This was not what he advertised & therefore I wanted my deposit back. He said there was a "No Refund" policy which I feel is right,if the advertisement was correct. The car he advertised didn't exist, so my deposit was on a non-existing car.
I asked to speak with the owner.His response was to go into the office and lock the door. I waited outside the door for over an hour.He dashed out a side door,jumped into a car and sped away.
There is a Better Business Bureau decal on his door which I feel is a travesty. Especially when I went online and found out how many other innocent people he has duped. I have reported the incident to them.Please remember the name, Michael Lahusky & All Approved Autoworks.Soon, I am sure, you will see him in cuffs being escorted by police on the news.
