I rented a vehicle from Alamo through a third party site in November 0f 2015. I was traveling to Fort Lauderdale and was picking it up and returning it to the airport location. I got in very late and the vehicle of choice was not there. I waited for quite a while and was then switched to another vehicle. The next day I received a call from a woman at Alamao apologizing for the error and offering me a credit of fifty dollars to my credit card. We went over the info and she was going to process the credit. I was pleasently surprised and thanked her. Later that day I received another call informing me that a credit couldn't be given since I rented throuh a third party site but to compensate two fifty dollar gift certificates were going to be sent to me. It is now April and I have made at lease a dozen phone calls and each time lied too. The first several times I was told that the certificates were sent to me via e-mail but I never got them although I received answers to my e-mails. Then I was told that they were sent to my home but I never recceived those either. I kept trying and trying and was told that they were sent twice both ways. How convenient that I never get them. I called several days in a row in February as I was traveling again and wanted to use them but was told by the last person that he couldn'd do anything but he was going to put in a claim to the department that could. I still have not heard back and have e-mailed him twice since. I think this is a ridiculous situation and would like your assistance.
Thanking you
