I have been using ADP totalpay card for a couple of months now, I understood there were going to be some fees, I was okay with that. If I had an issue, I knew I could speak with someone, I was worried about the $1.00 fee to talk with someone, but reluctantly got over my fear and called them up to activate my card.

So, I activate my card through an automated system, wonderful! I understand the .25 point of sale for debit purchases, wonderful! I even didn't get charged the $1.00 fee to talk to someone, wonderful. Here's when the kicker starts, I speak with someone. The first time I spoke with someone, I got a breakdown of how everything was which is awesome, I got clarification. The first time I called in, I will admit it I was rude, they helped me out, it was fixed. Everything is okay now right? Not so! Itterbitter lost her card oh no. Crap. Itterbitter calls totalpay and speaks with another outsourced person who tells me they can send me out a new card and cancel the old one for $6.00. That's a-ok with me after all it is my fault. Acknowledged moving on. I get home that night; hey look, my fiance found my totalpay card. Call'um back. Can't reactivate. Grrrrr okay, thats just fine, can we upgrade my existing one. Why yes itterbitter we can for $2.95/ month we certainly can.... ouch... uhm no lets not do that. Okay itterbitter. The new one will be sent here shortly. Itterbitter: is there a charge to receive paper statements? Total pay customer service SUPERVISOR: no, there is no maintenence fee for paper statements. Itterbitter: will you take the $2.95 off that you charged me for then? Adp: Uh no. from our end we cannot remove the $2.95 off for paper billing statements. Itterbitter: you just told me you could so, remove it. Adp supervisor: yes, yes we will. (and yes, yes they did, then I requested that they remove me from paper statements, so if I have another one come in, I'll be speaking with someone I'm sure is named Hajibjib.

Sounds like there's nothing wrong with that, right? Right, well, my card was lost so they had to look me up by social security number. Okay itterbitter, whats the point. THEY ASKED ME FOR THE LAST FOUR OF MY SOC RIGHT AFTER THEY GOT IT! Stuper moment, the saddest part is, it didn't even sound like they new what they were saying, just some basic english words on a script, the social security number issue happened twice. The second time the guy asked me for the last amount that was deposited by my employer, IF I KNEW THAT OR HAD RELATIVE INFORMATION AS FAR AS THAT GOES I PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE CALLING YOU. That is where the supervisor came into play. I'm done rambling but any companys looking to go through MetaBank, ADP totalpay card, or MoneyNetwork at all, save yourself the trouble, just because its cheap doesnt mean you wont receive complaints from your employees. As far as I go, I'm writing First Data Group a fun loving letter about the issues faced today as well as letting my employer know. That's all for now, ItterBitter away!
