On Sept 5th, I paid for the service of fixing my household washing machine. Action Appliance was contacted to do the work claiming to have the work completed in 3 days or less.
The suspected part was replaced. It was the wrong part. A new part was ordered.
The appointment was confirmed for a few days later. They did not arrive in their 4 hr window. They did not arrive at all. A new appointment was confirmed for a couple days later. They did not show for this appointment either.
The Monday after I called in to speak with the manager James. James has not made himself available at this point at all.
Another appointment was set and the service tech arrived an hour and a half after the set appointment time. At this point between the first appointment and this appointment they have had me waiting for them a collective total of 17+ hrs.
The Tech arrived and replaced what he thought was the part (which they provided, thanks.) After the Tech left I ran a load of laundry and the washer is still broken. It was the wrong part again.
I called that evening and set another appointment for the following day. They stood us up again and didn’t bother calling us. I had to call them again to see where they were. I was then told if I cancelled an appointment they would charge me 25%. That's not even a joke.
Finally on Sep 21st I called asking for a refund at 9:30am for services not rendered and asked to speak to the manager again. I was told I would receive a call in 1 hr. I called back at 3:30pm to get an update. I was told I would get a call back. I received a call and was advised the manager James refuses to talk to me and will not refund anything.
Not really sure what I did to receive this treatment. Wish I would have done a little more research on this one.
