Acer Warranty provides for refund only on THEIR choice.

I purchased a Acer Aspire S7, their high-end ultrabook in July '14. The screen stopped working two months later (it still worked through an external monitor). I had to ship the laptop to Texas for repair. They would not ship a replacement, or provide a refund despite it being within the warranty period.
