Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This company has contacted my daughter because of a debt that was sold to them by citibank. To make a very long story short, they are harassing my daughter, calling and leaving stupid messages, and the debt in question has not been validated. We have sent a debt validation letter and we have filed complaints with the FTC and the attorney state general in NJ and in PA where this company is located. When we hear back from both offices, legal action will ensue because of all the violations they have committed under the FDCPA.

Unfortunately, I paid this company some money before I realized that they had coerced and scared my daughter by telling her they would take her to court and that they would garnish my wages and put a lien on my property. The phone calls in question have been recorded. I have heard horror stories about this collection agency, even about unauthorized debits from people's accounts. I am not validating these statements, as I do not know if they are true or not. In any case, I am not worried about that because if they are stupid enough to try and make unauthorized authorizations from my account, I will have the FBI in this so fast, they wont know what to do.

I am not playing games. I am more than willing to settle this matter but the amount they are asking for is ridiculous, and if my daughter had that kind of money in the first place, the account would not have been taken to a collection agency. I hope by posting this, someone else going through this situation will have the sense to stand up for himself or herself. A debt must be validated, and the collection agency must tell you so. Any threats to garnish wages, puts liens on property or any other sort of verbal abuse is not tolerated under the FDCPA
