You need to write them a letter, certified mail return receipt requested, advising them that this is not your debt and advising them they are not to contact you by telephone for any reason. They are to contact you by mail only. You then need to file a complaint with the Attorney General's offices in PA and IL (make sure you send a copy of this complaint to the collection agency). Then go to the FTC site and file a complaint there. Good luck.

Immediately send them a cease communications request as provided for in the FDCPA. Go to FTC.GOV to read it if needed. Send a letter of dispute to them and to all 3 major credit bureaus. Send ALL correspondence by certified mail, return reciept requested. Then go to BudHibbs.com and read up on these jerks.
