Sat.the 5th.of May I filed a report with
[email protected] after experiencing my transmission trying to lock up on the way home from work. Basicly, besides all the run around from customer relations I endured, which went on for months and the lies from the service center, both to me and about
me;I had a problem arise as a result of the center taking thier
inline filter off [they cut my line to install it]and then pieced the line back together. Seven or eight months later the same line rubbed a hole back by the oil pan,and was about one and onehalf qts.when I caught it.The transmission never shifted
as firm after that. This was Sept.Or Oct.of 1998 Two months before my warranty expires. This center is located in Tulsa,Ok.
at 15th and Memorial-Owned by Ken Sutton. Fast-forward to now.
This car is a 85 Monte Carlo which I purchased in 90 with 70k miles on it. I got the car back Tues.the 15th.Cost-$562.00. The owner Carl Miller tells me there was no hot wire to the lock-up
converter,which I figured cost me Another $500.00 losing 2mpg.
at my average of 25,000 miles a year- Two and one half years.
Also Aamco charged me $640.00 for the privilege.
