My mother was tricked by the free towing service after her tiburon wouldnt start. She recieved a call from Tim. He proceeded to tell her that they needed to break down the transmission to look further. This would cost $500 +. She agreed not knowing that they would then rebuild the transmission for $2600. After she told me this I called Tim and told him to stop the work. He said okay its going to cost $300+ because we already spent three hours on it. He said she said it was okay. He clearly took advantage of her because he kept insisting he will help her with these new financing options. I told her it was going to end up being multi-thousand dollars and she kept insisting he would take care of her. I

expressed ny doubts to her. I called Tim and told him that I know they are trying to rebuild the transmission and he swore up and down that ot might not be that. I had my doubts. He would say anything to get a sale for Carl Cox. The engine light was on and she took it to auto zone to get a diagnosis. The computer said it was an oxygen sensor. I told Tim it was probably a sensor and he said that doesnt have anything to do with the performance of the vehicle. My mother recieved a call in which Tim said it would be $2600. He swore up and down that they had a new finance company. Not to worry. My mother makes $1200 a month and can't afford that much money. I then decided to visit Tim.

I walked in and some mad customer stormed out. Almost knocking me over. A short guy wad standing there and gave me a mad dog look as if I did something to him. He then ignored us and Tim took us in his office. I figured the short guy was the owner. I stepped outside to take a call and Carl gets in his nice, white, shiny, f250 lifted with huge tires. He then arrogantly took off peeling out. I then noticed all the cars in front of the building. I realized that they were taking cars that people brought in that couldnt pay those high bills. I figured they were doing title loans. I later told my mom this and Tim said no they didnt do that. Thats exactly what they do. I asked him, what happenes if we dont pay the loan

and he said the car is ours. That is a title loan. He made my mom fill out three loan applications and was denied by one and the other two only loaned her a total of $1000 or less. The only other option was a title loan. Just like I suspected. Its been a week or more and shes trying to borrow enough money to get her car out of their location. They charge storage fees. I have a family of 6 and we have two vehicles and two jobs. I had to lend my mom my car which is a burdon to us. I recorded Tim for an hour and his arrogance is incredible. I also told everyone at my office and found out that we have a salesman who worked there. He told us it was the way they scam people. He was making money with

them. My mother has been scammed. The problem is that they make you sign agreements that waive your right to any attorney. They have a license to steal. I know Carl Cox is going to probably rebuttle this but dont be fooled. Hes going to say we help as much as possible which is a trick. No matter what he says his comapany scammed us. There is no other explanation for it. We got ripped off.
