I purchased a remanufactured engine from this company.  I had to send in my old engine and in return I received a remanufactured engine for a cost of 2300 dollars.  Then I paid 1700 dollars for a mechanic to replace the engine.

The engine they had sent to me started to overheat after 1500 miles.  After furhter inspection from other mechanics it turns out that AAA engine sent me an unfinished unrepaired engine and did not fix it properly.  This caused the head to crack.

They took advantage of me by taking my old engine and sending me a broken one.  Please do not fall for this scam.  I have asked multiple times just to refund my money.  However they will not.

After 1500 miles. If the engine was in as bad of shape as you suggest then you wouldnt have gotten even 5 miles down the road. Also how can you realistically expect a refund for the engine when you have used the engine and damaged said engine. I know its frustrating but you have to accept a few facts in this instance. You are showing the usual behavour of the American Consumer. There is a issue and you are seeking ANYONE else to place the blame on. YOU want THEM to give you the money back on a engine THAT WAS INSTALLED IMPROPERLY!! You CANNOT look at the damages AFTER they have been damaged and make the ASSUMPTION that it was THEIR fault. The last person to have their hands on YOUR engine was YOUR mechanic. Let me guess, YOUR mechanic said it was the company that you bought the engine from. Well ofcourse they would say that. THEY dont want to pay for THEIR mistakes either, just like you.

You cannot expect a refund. You DID use the engine for over 1000 miles. The ONLY reason your engine would be failing is because it was improperly installed. A quick check by your mechanic, since the new engine was not in the vehicle, would have verified that there was damages that you claimed. A competant mechanic would have fired up that new engine BEFORE putting it in your vehicle. So just from your own post I can see atleast three seperate incidents where had you a competent mechanic would have saved you from this happening.

Lastly, unless you have shipped the engine you recieved back to the purchasing company within the time frame allowed for returns, you wont see a refund. You are unfairly blasting a company because of damages from your own mechanics incompetance. You need to address this behavour because what you have done IS illegal. The web is considered by the courts as a media outlet. What you have done is just as bad as taking out a full page ad in your local newspaper. Actually its like you took a full page ad out in EVERY publication out there. So if this company choses to sue you, you have no one to blame BUT yourself. If you think your safe because you did it online, think again. EVERYTHING you do is logged somewhere. All it takes is a court order and a lawyer willing to sue you for every dime you have or ever will have. Its called DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER, CHARACTER ASSASSINATION, SLANDEROUS SPEECH. All of these are crimes you are commiting. Just prepare yourself.
