"A Computer Helper" Computer Service & Repair Atlantic Beach, Fl employer rip off
I worked for A Computer Helper and was working for commision based on the amount of service that I provided. A week before my termination of the employment, I printed out a service report to give me a total of my service rendered from the beginning of the month to that time which was the 25th of October.
When it came time to collect my commision check, "A Computer Helper" was shorting me several hundred dollars. They could not reliquish the check with the shortage on it to me at that time explaining that the gentleman who signs the check needed to sign it.
I returned Saturday, as requested by them, to pick it up and still the check had not been signed. I went over the discrepancies with them and the owner got angry and began to raise her voice. I left the building and rechecked my figures and I was correct. I returned today to pick up the check and the owner was not there but not the check was shorted 3 hundred dollars more than the fist time. Let me tell you what my commision rate is and the amount of services that I provided for them and then the amount of pay actually received.

That is the commision chart issued to me by the company. On october 25th my service amount was 4,314.64 and the total the company said I have for all of October is 4,486.64. I owed them for inventory 172.53. The first check they wanted to issue to me was written for 633.00 but now after I brought this to their attention they now wrote it for 304.96. This is the actual issued check to me. I claim 0 on taxes.
The owner said she was paying at the 40% commision rate. I figured 30% for taxes (which is high to cover medicare, SS and federal withholding). My figure came out to $727.25 which should have been higher in actual pay because my total taxes shouldn't come out to be 30%. Why are they now paying me $304.96? They are just angry that I questioned the pay at all. All of this in not counting all the gas and milage compensation they owe me that was actually agreed to be paid. I have never received gas reinbursment except once for 10.00 and put over 400 miles a week on my car. I am getting ripped off and they believe they can do it. Can you help me?
