Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

SCAM..We applied for a loan with another company and were approved and were waiting to hear the final info by phone the next day.  First thing in the morning we got a auto call that said we are calling about your loan application and press 1 to continue or 2 if you didnt apply for a loan.  I pressed 1 thinking it was the loan company.

Rep gets on and asked for my phone # which I gave her.  She asked name loan was under, was my husband and she said she cant tell me anything about it cause its not in my name, told her I was on the loan as a coborrower and would like to know when funds would be in the bank. She said there is just a name and phone and they called to help continue with the application... WHAT APPLICATION???? Told her we were already approved and signed contract and have payments starting on the 1st.  She said no this is just a blank application.

Finally realized this was not out loan company and asked who this was. This is 800 loanmart.  WE NEVER APPLIED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I was quite upset and wanted to know how they know we applied for another loan and knowing we were waiting for a call to confirm they swooped in and called first and tried to STEAL the loan or try to scam us into applying for another loan thinking we were just giving additioinal info about our real loan.  I will be reporting them to the BBB also.

Do not do business with this company they are scam artists.  Found out they have a contract with LENDINGTREE to get name and phone of anyone using lendingtree to find a loan company.  With lendingtree you just give name and phone and gen info and they suggest a company.  Lendingtree never suggested 800 loanmart.
