I got a statement for 15.50 on my bank account that I have not used in over a year. It overdrafted my account since I had only like 3 dollers in it. I called the bank to file a fraud case, but they told me to call the magazine company (the number was on the statement) and find out what is going on.

So I did. It was impossible to get to a REAL person on the phone! I googled the number and found MANY reports of people having this happen to them. I was glad I wasn't alone! Someone had found a way to get a real person so I tried it and it worked.

 If anyone needs to know this also you just have to keep pressing # every time the automated person says something. After a bit of that you will be transferred to a REAL person.

I was unable to get a refund (maybe I wasn't mean enough to demand it correctly) but I did get it canceled. HOWEVER, the kicker for that was that they said that it might take another statement or two for it to stop!!! So that leaves me with a high overdraft fee and I guess two more before this will stop!

I'm thinking of taking this on legally and getting my money back (plus more). Honestly I was hoping there was a class-action suit I could have joined in on. I might look a little further to see if there is. THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!
