Had this coverage 9+ yrs.  Couple of claims in the past handled with great satisfaction--only paid the $75 service deductible.  Water heater went out, authorized contractor was told that over $700 of repairs would not be covered.  The majority of not authorized charges involved replacement of gas connection (which cannot be re-used in a repair) and temperature and pressure valve, plus various smaller charges.  

Warranty policy clearly states that pressure regulators and gas valves are covered items.  Customer service claimed these were "modifications" even though the repair could not be done without those items.  I wrote a detailed letter to the president of the company 35  days ago which was not even answered.  Clearly the president and the company does not care about its customers.
