This notice might prevent others from going thru the nightmare we have endured the last 6 weeks. First we are a business and were needing a top of the line computer.

We have seen 1st comp u choice from 740 beta dr. mayfield

village, oh.44143 add in the computer shopper magazine and figured they must be a 1st rate company.

We ordered a monitor and computer, the cost was nearly $2700.00 with a promised deliverly date. A day after the date arrived I called and found that they had not even started on it yet, I

told them to cancell the order, a few minutes later they called and said if they would rush it right out and deduct $200.00 off would I still take it , to my mistake I said o.k.

When we go it ,the video card, audio card, modem, and most of the programs were substituted for cheaper ones, part of the programs we ordered were missing. The ones they did preprogram did not include backup discs. The cdrw-zip-dvd all did not work it would freeze, would not boot up etc. they just threw it together to get it out the door. A

fter call after call we got the back up discs three weeks later ,some were copys of the orignals. A freind who is sharp on computers spent hours on the phone with their tech., trying to

get this thing working properly. They got it working about 75% but it was still giving alot of problems that is when I had to get a local tech. to come and completly reprogram it, now it works o.k. it cost me $200.00 for his labor .They knew the monitor was bad from day one and had promised to replace it as soon as we had the other troubles fixed.

The monitor had color streaks running across the screen in three places. They tried to stall by refering us to the company Pro-View, they said they talked to the company and they was going to send us a new one right out, but when we called the company said they never had any idea what we were talking about , the owner of 1st Comp gave me three different people to call that he said he talked to ,when I called none of them knew anything, this is were I figured out that I was getting the shaft, they also said that we would have to return the monitor for repair what would take 4to5 weeks, that would have been real great for a new monitor less than 5 weeks old. Pro-View would be another good one to stay away from.

After dozens of calls greg the owner of the company said he would

send me a new monitor but first we had to give him a credit card # for deposit only to be used in case we did not return the defective one or in two weeks time if not returned by then. We got the suppost to be new one and sent the defective one back the same day the box on the one he sent was worn and had been retaped at least two times , the mfg. date on it show it to be over two years old and it looked like it was a used one

also some off brand that knowbody I have talked to has ever heard of.

That is not the worst part of it ,they went and charged our credit card the same day they sent it for $300.00 for this used monitor that was suppost to be the replacement for the junk that he sent before.

Here we are out our other monitor and have been screwed for this one . we have almost every thing on tape from the phone calles we made with them. warning !!! stay away from this company.
