1-800-unlocks Unlocks, Jeff Musser Rip-off This company refuses to respond or help refund the $712.48 they owe us Palm Harbor Florida
1-800-Unlocks refuses to correspond with us to refund the $712.80 due to us from THEIR collection company Affiliated Acceptance Corporation out of Kansas City.
We have ben trying to get this refunded since August of 1998.
Mr Musser has made lots of promises to Locksmiths about making them satisfied but he refuses to respond to e-mail or answer phone calls regarding this.
Claimed they were trying to cancel and they had canceled the wrong account because there were so many with the same name.
Jeff does not respond to e-mail to settle this privately and his bragging about how he is satisfying everyone on other forums is not consistant with the way we feel! So how about it Jeff? Want to call us and explain now?

To the two companies that have expressed that they have lost money. I invite them to contact our office at 1-800-UNLOCKS, option #2. It seems as if you got caught up in a billing issue of August 1992. Our billing companies were switched and it looks like your credit card was either cancelled or changed. Therefore any credits were not allowed to go through. As the new owner I will do my best in reviewing your situation and resolving it. Before you submit your issues, please review your contract, specifically section 12 where it details your committment of returning your fee to us on a prorated basis. This is due to our not making a commit to any long term contract, but rather if you decide to terminate your contract early, you will be penalized for the remaining amount for the month of using our trademarked toll-free number. These 2 post do not reflect over 300 members, so I would take these postings as eiher disgruntled members, or legitimate mistakes that have either been resolved, or being resolved. It is a shame that these types of forums do not explain the technicalities of the situation, especially when an ex-girlfriend is allowed to defame someone like Jeff Musser, just because he left her. I guess anyone will do anything to get attention! I guess the 6 magazine articles hailing Jeff Musser and his entrepreneur skills is a moot point with an ex-girlfriend calling him a crook. His incredible insights on how to build a business and maintain customer issues on a national basis outweigh any image of an ex-girlfriend calling him a crook. I am here to let everyone know I purchased 1-800-UNLOCKS in July 2003. What ever happened before that date I had nothing to do with. In my contract I bought only the customer base, web site and phone number. Anything after July 2003 you can blame on me. Thank you and I look forward to working with you.
