Please be aware that Treasure Box Store is a FAKE retailer. Not only are they not located in the U.S., (contrary to what their website claims, they are actually in China) but their online retail platform is just an elaborate front for them to take your money and run with it. Once you have paid them, you will receive NOTHING, and they will come up with all kinds of elaborate excuses as to why you havene't received your order.

Below is a full transcipt of all the email communication I've had with them over the last month and a half. I was very quick to place an order with them without vetting them beforehand. I urge you to please not make the same mistake I did, and stay away from this scam.

According to your email from April 8, my product shipment should be arriving today; ("12-20 business days" from the date of my order, April 7) however, according to the latest tracking information, it appears that my order hasn't even been shipped out yet, and there has been no progress in shipping this out in the last 7 days. This is not acceptable, and I cannot keep waiting indefinitely for this essential product. If my order is not delivered to me by end of day on Wednesday, April 29, I will be cancelling this order and demanding a refund.

Per my email from 4/27/2020, I would like to cancel this order. Please refund my MasterCard $66.37 as soon as possible, and please let me know when this refund has been processed, so I can be on the lookout for these funds.

I have been more than patient in waiting for this order. I simply cannot wait any longer. I'm sorry it didn't work out.

I have already waited 30 business days. My tracking number is not providing any information about the order being processed by U.S. Customs. It still says that my order hasn't shipped yet. Where are you getting this information from, and why am I am not able to see it on my end? Please send me an updated link or screenshot that confirms this information.

For the record, my purchase experience from your website has been extremely frustrating. Your website lists a Portland, Oregon mailing address, which is the reason why I placed the order in the first place - because Portland, Oregon is fairly close to my location, therefore I would not have anticipated such delays in shipping. I understand that these are unprecedented times and circumstances, but your website is misleading about where these products originate from. That has nothing to do with the pandemic, and that's my main source of frustration.

Again, please send me a more accurate way to track my shipment. Otherwise, I am going to insist on cancelling this order.

Your company has taken $66.37 from me without fulfilling any orders, much less the order that was promised through your online "retail" platform over a month ago. Additionally, you have given me a false tracking number, and repeated false claims that my order "has shipped", (for several weeks now) but yet you have failed to provide any single documentation confirming this information. In the United States, this is considered a criminal act, known as "fraud" and "theft". (also called "stealing")

I am being extremely generous, and offering you an opportunity to return the stolen money to me by this coming Friday without reporting this to the authorities. Should you fail to do so, I will be forced to obtain a refund through third parties, rather than from you directly. Either way, this money will be returned to me. I think it would be easier for everyone if you initiated the refund on your end.

Having read a number of negative reviews about your company online, (and I found a lot of them, regrettably only after I made my purchase) it seems that you have a regular habit of ripping people off in this manner, and possibly getting away with it. Rest assured, I am very protective of my rights as a consumer, and I will not passively allow for this to happen here.

I consider this matter to be closed. I will check my bank account on Friday and will take it from there.

ALERT! They changed their address!

Just one week after I posted by report, I found out that this business conveniently changed their address. They must have read my original report, along with the original Portland, Oregon address I submitted, and figured changing their address would be a clever way to trick people into thinking they're not the same company. They are. The new address they're now using is:

71-75 Shelton Street, London, Greater London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ

Consumers beware! New Address, Same Old Scam! I wonder how many other disposable addresses they have.
