I paid over $5000 for a Honda civic hybrid 2007. It was a used car. I bought this car on July 24th 2019. By September 1 it started to die. I have taken it to 3 mechanics And all three confirm the big battery needs to be replaced. The cost to replace it is over $5000. I tried taking it to a Honda dealer who is the manufacturer of the car and they confirmed it needs over $5000 worth of work.
i understand that I paid for a used car but I’ve only owned it nine weeks now and it stopped working after six weeks. This is just not OK and I want my money back. I feel like I was robbed.
This car is dangerous because it’s a hybrid and it dies if you are at a stop sign or idle for to long and the only way to keep it going is by putting it in neutral and revving the engine.
do the right thing. I spent to much money.

This is a 13 year old car with a 13 year old expensive hybrid battery. Did you do ANY research on this type of car? Do you actually think the hybrid battery lasts forever? Toyota only warrants their hybrid battery for EIGHT years!
