On Feb 27 2021 , We purchased a male Yorkie from Sonia Griffiths GSD-Ranch he was almost 9 weeks old at that time. We were told the puppy weight is 2.1 LBS and that he is a pure bred AKC toy class Yorkie. He looked bigger than 2.1 lbs but we took her word since we drove 5hrs to pick him. One week later I noticed he was growing fast and looked a lot bigger. I put him on the scale and he weighed 5.6 lbs. At 10 week he should weight 1/2 that for a toy Yorkie . For the follwing week I made sure he recieved extra play and exercise time running in the yard and in the house. Also keep a closer eye on his calorie intake. At 11 weeks his weight is 5.8 Lbs and he has contined to grow in length 14" and height 10" which is beyond the AKC toy class spec.
He is now in the Giant class and does not have the value of toy class. This is just the begining of his growth cycle and I do not know how much larger he will become. I contacted Sonia with this information and photos of the puppy and asked for a refund She has not responed. She moves and changes names and switch from German Shepard breeding to Yorkie breeding. The AKC registerstation for the Dam and Sire is under Anthony Griffiths.
I believe that our puppy may have been mixed bred and being passed off as purebred. a DNA test will confirm the puppy's breed .She is getting ready to sell another batch of Yorkie "AKC toy" puppies Citra FL. My advice is to beware of this breeder and any other breeder that does not offer a warranty. Sonia has a least one other complaint on this site.

April 25 2021: Our puppy is almost 4 months old and he is 9.4 lbs. We have he in good health and he is very happy and playful. I still have not recieved any reply from Sonia Griffiths or Anthony ( Tony). The DNA test from Wisdom Panel has been completed and our dog is 91 percent Yorkshire terrier and 9 percent New Foundland which is a very large breed. Not sure if 91 percent counts as pure yorkie. The DNA test says he will get upto 15 lbs but our very is saying to plan for 20 lbs.
He will be a monster sized Yorkie . 7 lbs is the upperlimit set by the AKC. Beware of this breeder now using www.yorkie.zone has their website and they are trying to sell 3 males born on 3/22/2021 for $2500 each. They are also on AKC market place . People like them should be avoided .

Update. Instead of dealing with this compliant the Griffiths are creating new websites. www.aristocratyorkshireterrier.com is one of their websites and I just found this one yorkie.zone which may have just been created. Beware they are pro con people look for other con's reported in texas. I will continue to update until they correct the wrong they did to me and my wife
