I've ordered Serta Style Leighton Home Office Chair, Twill Fabric, Blue from Amazon.ca, in June 2020 and it was delivered in July, 2020.  Unfortunately my handyman died in the meantime and it took me a while with the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown to find someone else to assemble it. Thus, I couldn't return it to Amazon.ca for I lost the 30 day return window and lost over $300.00 in the process.  A genuine ripoff!

Well, it took me less than a week to realize that this was the most uncomfortable office chair I've ever owned. It's very cheaply made, poor quality garbage manufactured in China. Their claim that the seat is memory foam is a farce.  It's like sitting on hard ground or a stone bench. I ended up buying an ergonomic back support and seat cushion from Amazon.ca to compensate for it, but it still didn't help. The back does not tilt and it's locked at 90 degrees.  Turning the knob at the bottom to loosen it does not help either. It's permanently stuck.  Additionally, it lowers itself instead of holding to set height level. When I sit on it, front part of the chair sinks down as well, raising the back, making me slide out of the chair constantly, causing me continuos back pain.  Needless to say I retired it after using it less than a week and reverted back to my old chair.

Serta should be ashamed of themselves for peddling such Chinese junk putting their reputation on the line. I am disgusted to say the least. I've expected better from them.

Notwithstanding that, after a while, following the advice of a friend I got in touch with Serta for she assured me that the chair was under manufacturer's  warranty for a year. A big, mendacious lie.

They responded and told me to take it up with LF Products, formerly True Innovations. I sent an email to True Innovations, no response. I tried to call the numbers I was supplied, one was not in service,  the other had an automated answering which got me nowhere. Possibly they're working from home but I  expected at least an email back not a total silence.

I wrote back to Sertasimmons.ca, who pretended to be so helpful at the beginning,  asking for their help again for I was getting nowhere with True Innovations,  no reply from them either. 

That's the scope of the warranty they're offering, It isn't worth diddly-squat.
